Application for Maisha Screenwriting Lab 2009

APPLICATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 11TH , 2009 – KENYA

Please submit the 4 application components detailed below via email to: maishafilmlab@infocom.co.ug

1. An original 5-10 short script in English (this must be a screenplay for a short film and not an extract from a feature).
(This script must be in CELTX FORMAT. Please refer to the RESOURCES section of the Maisha Website or go to www.celtx.com to download the free Celtx Screenwriting software.)
2. 1 page synopsis of the script
3. Your CV
4. Proof of citizenship
5. Complete Application form (below)

NOTES:

*9 applicants will be selected for the Lab.

*Each day of the workshop will begin at 9:00 AM and end in the early evening. If you are selected, your presence will be required for all 8 days.

*You must bring a laptop to the workshop so you can perform the mandatory revisions to your script during the lab sessions.
