Kwani? is helping me understand the soul of the Kenyan. I'm a white Californian managing a NGO that supports 400 children in Athi River. Learning the attitudes towards foreigners, the government, the church, or everyday life from an indigenous voice opens my eyes in new ways. For me, Kwani? is giving voice to the children with whom I work. I call it my new ngugist.
I discovered Kwani? on the internet and and found volumns 3 and 4 last month in a tiny bookstore in Aspen, Colorado-go figure! I'm looking forward to vol 5 when I'm in Kenya soon.
Have you thought of publishing a children's Kwani?

kwani? is being felt around, not only in their effort to make souls worth saving but actually saving the soul of self realization and awakening.
